Hymne a l’Amour (Piaf/Monnot) by Marcus Strand

The striking chanson ’Hymne a l’amour’ was my grandma’s favorite and plays like a dream on the guitar thanks to Roland Dyens’ very sharp E flat arrangement (see what I did there?). The suit however is not so not dreamlike, the thick Finnish wool makes it about as comfortable to wear as a wet bundle of sticks, so I hope you appreciate my sacrifice pour les arts!
