He took his first guitar lesson at an early age of three years, because of his enthusiasm for music, which he received through his parents, grandfather, and neighbor. Inspired by the recordings of classical guitar masters such as Andrés Segovia, Julian Bream, Narciso Yepes and Pepe Romero he continued his guitar studies with Daniel Erni. There he enjoyed a solid formation in classical guitar while also learning about South American music which became one of his favorite genres.
