Blacksmithing - Forging a pickaxe

In this video I show how I approach the challenge to forge a pickaxe. A pretty simple form, but quite heavy work still. Forming the eye is the crucial part. There must however be something wrong with the minecraft recipe... I found it only took two iron ingots and one stick to make it.
