This mix was also inspired by Kofi Awoonor, a prominent Ghanaian poet, author, and diplomat. Awoonor’s poetry and literary works often explored themes of African identity, culture, and the struggle for independence. He drew inspiration from traditional African oral poetry and combined it with modern poetic techniques to create a distinct and powerful voice.
