David Risberg, baritone Christina Bjørkøe, piano The young baritone David Risberg has been named Classical Artist in P2 by Swedish Radio, a designation that extends over the concert season of 2024/25. David Risberg made his debut at the Royal Opera in Stockholm in 2021 and has since added several new roles to his repertoire, including Marcello in La Bohème and Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This year, David has performed as Mr. Darcy in Norrlandsoperan’s acclaimed production of Pride and Prejudice, and in the fall, he will make his role debut as Guglielmo in Così fan tutte at Malmö Opera.
