Solo Bushcraft - Fire Prepping, Tarp Shelter, Outdoor Cooking - Wild Camping in Northern Wilderness

This is a video of my solo trip to the Northern forest of Sapmi. The snow is still lying on the ground as usual in May. I’m using lavvu canvas poncho tent as a bushcraft shelter. It is also suitable for survival in an extreme situation. This type of survival shelter is very comfortable. I walked around and collected enough stones to make a fire pit. Then I prepared firewood with handmade bucksaw and Fiskars X7 axe. Applying bushcraft skills, I made a fire with a ferro rod and began to cook food on a cast iron pan. The main dish this time was squid ink spaghetti. I’m still experimenting with Italian cuisine in the forest. Black pasta looks pretty weird. But it tastes like regular pasta. In general, this dish is cooked with a bunch of different seafood. But I chose a simpler option for the forest. I cooked squid ink pasta with fried ham, cherry tomatoes and parsley. So delicious! Every time I try to do something new to develop my survival skills in the wild. On this trip, I made a simple bushcraft teapot hanger, using my knife. At night the temperature was about 1°С (33.8 F). But for me it was quite warm in my bushcraft shelter near the fire while sipping hot tea from my kuksa. That was a wonderful camping in the forest! Thanks for joining me!
