Sadashiv Amrapurkar is an Indian actor who is well known for his performances in Marathi and Hindi films in the 1980s and 90s. He was a trained singer but was advised that his highly nasal voice would prevent him from achieving fame — so at the age of 21 in 1971, Sadashiv migrated to theatre and the stage.
