Human Trafficking Happens Here: Understanding Exploitation in Colorado and the Actions We Can Take

Kara Napolitano presents at the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking’s (LCHT) Amplify Event on Colorado Gives Day in 2023. Kara Napolitano (she/her) is a human rights advocate and trainer. As LCHT’s Research and Training Manager, she has trained more than 25,000 professionals across Colorado on how to recognize and respond to labor and sex exploitation. Kara works alongside law enforcement, healthcare providers, those working with systems-involved youth and professionals in other intersecting sectors to build collaborations that prevent exploitation, support survivors, and hold perpetrators accountable in communities across the state.
