SpaceX catches Falcon 9 fairing from space in a 200x200 ft net!

The naval ship “Ms. Tree“ (formerly called “Mr. Steven“), outfitted with a giant 200x200 ft (3,700 m² or acres) net strung between 4 shock-absorbing arms, successfully caught a Falcon 9 payload fairing that fell from space on Aug 6, 2019. The fairing was one-half of a pair that formed the nose cose of the Falcon 9 rocket that launched the Amos 17 satellite. The two fairing halves were jettisoned when the rocket reached space.
