Article 5 of the NATO* treaty won’t be triggered if Russia attacks any member’s troops deployed to Ukraine, DPA reported, citing a German parliament expert group report. Reflecting the principle of collective defence all NATO members, Article 5 says an armed attack against one or more states shall be considered an attack against all.
