Music title: Talkies Music artist: Huma-Huma It took me about 2 hours to paint this portrait. It gave me a real Alla Prima feeling. It is really amazing how close to reality digital brushes and paint react. Apart from the background, for which I used a large watercolour bristle brush and one of the new grunge oil brushes (Speck), I exclusively used 2 oil brushes: Thin Round 2 and Knife Textured 2. The Knife Brushes have become my absolute favourites. I use them not only for oils/acrylics but also with dry media, pastels and charcoal.
