And I let them cool down. This is will be the first layer ( maybe you can toast the bread using a toaster, i think this is much easier) To make the sugar syrup you need: 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of water A squeeze of lemon juice (a few drops) ½ tsp rose water (optional) Bring this mixture to boil and let it boil for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and pour the sugar syrup immediately into the toast bread. Let the bread absorb all the sugar syrup. Now let’s make the second layer, you’ll need: 4 cups of full fat milk 2 tbsp corn flour/ corn starch 8 tbsp all purpose flour 1 tbsp rose water ( optional) 1 tbsp of sugar 1 packet Ashta / Kaymak/ clotted cream / thick cream /double cream / table cream Mix this mixture until everything is combined, then turn on the heat and stir continuously Then add Two slices of bread ( I cut the edges and I cut the bread into small pieces) Stir until it boils, then add a tsp of unsalted butter. Turn off the heat, and pour it onto the bread. Leave it in the fridge for 3 hours at least. And finally garnish with pistachio or almonds (just do whatever you want here) Track: Fidayda Artist: Turku, Nomads of the Silk Road Album: Nomads of the Silk Road GENRES: International Middle East Turkish World, Turkey, Turkish, Persian, Kurdish, Sil Fidayda by Turku, Nomads of the Silk Road is licensed under a Attribution License.
