I usually would use a small toaster oven to complete this stage. This type of oven can easily  reach  the temperature required. The first stage is to sand the blade to bring on a shine I use 320grit wet & dry paper.. Bring the oven up to temperature The temperature I am looking for is just above 250c (490f),With an oxide color Yellow-Brown, Orange
