But give them enough time to close their windows. 3 - Start off by doing the biggest rugs and carpets first. Because your not used up any of your energy. 4 - Make sure you have good footing, because you don’t want to fall out of the window. 5 - With the pattern side out, hold the shortest end of the rug or carpet tightly. 6 - In a fast flicking motion. Shake hard. Until you see no dust and lint. 7 - Turn rug or carpet around and repeat the process. 8 - Finish. 9 - If rug or carpet is to big.
