Total Solar Eclipse | Microsoft Flight Simulator

Took a while to find a full eclipse! Detailed instructions below: The current Microsoft solar / lunar model seems to be ever so slightly off, and many eclipses that ’should’ be full in real life, are just partial eclipses in the game. The best total eclipse I found: July 11th 1991 - 19:02 to 19:08 UTC (totality of the eclipse) Coords: , (Russia) Note: From what I can tell, you can view eclipses in Flight Simulator 2020 from anywhere in the world where you can see the sun, there doesn’t seem to be a location where eclipses are better or worse at a given time. The most important thing is to try and view them in low-light, you can either go to a place where it’s sunrise or sunset or change the weather to ’overcast’. The current lighting model means that even during a total eclipse there’s far too much sunlight to see it properly, espcially during the middle of the day.
