Application of Denitrification Catalyst in Incinerators
1. SCR Technology
SCR is one of the most common denitrification technologies. Its basic principle is to inject a reducing agent (such as ammonia or urea) into the flue gas produced by incineration, and reduce nitrogen oxides to nitrogen and water through the action of the catalyst.
2. Catalyst Placement
In an incinerator, the denitrification catalyst is usually placed in the flue system, close to the flue gas outlet. This ensures that the flue gas temperature is suitable for the catalytic reaction (usually between 200-400°C) and there is sufficient reaction time.
