The surfaces on these grabbers use “gecko adhesion” to stick to almost anything. Georgia Tech engineers came up with a way to mass-produce the surfaces cost-effectively, which may spread their use to assembly lines. The adhesion works on the same scientific principles that make a gecko’s paws stick to windows and walls.
