Offered to market for the first time, this low mileage example of Aston Martin’s race inspired sportscar, the limited-edition Vantage GT8. Inspired and influenced by the V8 Vantage GTE race car, the GT8 was the lightest and most powerful V8 Vantage ever, when launched in April 2016. In addition to the dramatically sculpted, wide bodied carbon fibre bodywork and revised performance orientated chassis, the 4.7 litre V8 engine was upgraded to produce 440bhp. The GT8 was available with either the 6-speed manual or Sportshift III gearbox. This combined with the dramatic weight saving of up to 100 kg (depending upon options chosen), the Vantage GT8 boasted some very impressive performance numbers including 0-62mph and a top speed of 190mph. Limited to just 150 cars worldwide, predictably all had sold out shortly after being announced in 2016. Just 80 were built for the UK RHD market, 68 of which were 6-speed manual specification.
