6 Ways to use a Caline 10 Band EQ pedal

A demo of the Caline CP81 10 band graphic eq pedal with some practical tips done quick with no jibber jabber: EQ pedals can be daunting and this video shows you how to get some great tones with an EQ in your rig. One amp - a Marshall DSL 40C and one guitar - an Ibanez Artstar. I’ve made some backing tracks and recorded some examples of how you can set up your EQ to do particular jobs - six of them to be precise: 1. Tighten up your metal tone 2. Give your overdrive some girth 3. Slam the front end of your amp for RAT-like tones 4. Turn your humbucker into a single coil 5. Cut through a mix for solos 6. Get a great ’lo-fi’ sound Well worth a punt for the price. Hope you like! Huge thanks as always to Steve Sharples at Berlin Recording Studios for letting me run riot in their control room:
