Simba & Pocahontas - Between the raindrops (+2000)

So, I spent like 30 minutes to render this in HD... You’re gonna use it, right? I present you one of my biggest projects so far. I worked on this video for 3 days straight and I can’t believe I finally finished! I have mixed feelings about the final result, and even if I know it’s not perfect I hope you guys like it. I think it’s good, although I rushed the ending. I don’t know how I had this idea, but Pocahontas is one of my favourite Disney movies and I guess I just wanted to use her. Also, I missed making a crossover ^^ Storyline: Simba is a lion cub who lives happily with his father Mufasa in Africa, until the day a hunter, John Smith, appears. Mufasa tries to attack to protect his son, but John kills him and captures Simba, who is taken away from his home. The boat stops in a land, and Simba manages to escape and run away from the men. In that very same land, lives an indian called Pocahontas. She hears something, and she’s amazed to find out it was a lion. Simba is afraid of her initially, but soon he realizes she’s different from the other humans. Once she has a special connection with the nature, she can understand him. He tells her his story and she decides to take care of him. He grows up by her side, and they’re happy until John Smith and some other hunters go back to that land. Pocahontas and Simba go check what’s happening, and she falls in love with John. Simba doesn’t like him, but he can’t understand why. (He doesn’t remember who John is) Like in the movie, Pocahontas and John get together. Simba doesn’t like it, still he accepts their relationship until he remembers John was the man who killed his father. He goes tell Pocahontas, but she says he must be mistaken, fights with him and he goes away, feeling betrayed. When Simba is alone, he notices that the other hunters are coming. He tries to escape, but there’s no way out and he’s captured. Pocahontas is with John when she realizes something different is happening. John finally tells her that his men are hunting there, and she knew Simba was captured when she realizes he had gone on the same direction the hunters were. She wants to run and save him, but John asks her to stay away, otherwise she could be killed by the hunters. She says she has to save “her brother“, and goes. Meanwhile, a hunter is getting prepared to shoot Simba. Pocahontas runs. IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW THE ENDING, STOP READING AND GO WATCH THE VIDEO. Pocahontas arrives just after Simba was killed. She cries and she can’t forgive herself, because if she had listened to him he would be alive. Feeling guilty, she asks the hunter to kill her too, and so he does. In the ending, John decides he won’t be a hunter anymore, and the one who killed Simba also quits. You can interpret the hug at the end the way you want. Was it just a dream Pocahontas had right before she died or did it actually happen in paradise? It’s up to you ^^ Also, as I said, I worked really hard on this, so feedback is very welcome ^^ What was your favourite part? Mine is when the play on the snow!
