Crazy Gorilla Drummer plays several variations of “One-Drop“ or reggae drum beats, including a reggae play-a-long from Tommy Igoe’s “Groove Essentials“ book/CD. One drop is characterized mostly by the fact that the bass drum and cross-stick in unison enforce the backbeat or “one“ drop in the beat.
