My First My Little Pony Custom! Brazil Inspired MLP OC. Vintage Toy Restoration Paint Rehair Hasbro

This My Little Pony is my first ever custom. And I know, it shows. There’s a lot of room for improvement but you have to start somewhere ;) My idea was to restore the original pony but since the symbol was lost and the colors yellowed, I thought it would be a good opportunity to try a new skill. I chose the hair colors first and it all came together as a “celebration of Brazil“! The symbol idea came from my sister Paola; if you’ve been to South America you must have seen these “ojotas“ (usually Havaianas). I initially called this pony “Solzinho“, which means little sun in Portuguese. It’s now been officially renamed “Sandy Sun“, as suggested by WoffyDoggy :) (because sandy it’s similar to sandal, and beaches have lots of sand!)
