Hundreds were seen celebrating in central Bamako near the Independence Monument, Saturday, after France announced the withdrawal of troops from the country. Residents wrapped in Malian flags blew vuvuzelas to express jubilation at the departure of French forces. “The hour has struck. It’s the will of God and we really want to go all the way, fight, that’s why I came out today, to support the Malian army,“ said local resident Moussa Coulibaly. Since 2013, French soldiers have been stationed in Mali by request of the Malian government, due to political turbulence following the fall of late president Amadou Toumani Toure in 2012 and the presence of separatist movements in northern Mali. #Mali #Bamako Video ID: 20220220-001 Video on Demand: Contact: cd@ Twitter: http:/
