The best part is that in the game these were probably all songs Mari would play.
OMORI is that perfect emotional blend of wholesome and pain. This trait extends to its music. Thus, for maximum emotional pain, here is a compilation of my favorite OMORI piano covers. Enjoy!

0:00 - Title (Ryan Lafford)
I really like the old-piano style of this. It sounds a touch creepy, but very welcoming. Just like the game OMORI itself!
1:37 - Hero’s Song (PianoBin)
A song I love, despite it neither having an appearance on the official soundtrack or even having an official name. It’s just beautiful... What Hero and Mari had really was special, huh?
2:01 - My Time (にひきの住処)
This is what would play when... Well, when the pizza arrived. A very skillfully performed arrange!
6:05 - World’s End Valentine (Edwin)
I’m happy a couple piano arranges of these boss themes exist, they’re awesome and add a completely different feel to already great music!
10:04 - By Your Side. (koral)
There’s something about this old, slightly detuned piano, that adds so much emotion to this song. It really does feel like walking down memory lane!
11:40 - Do You Remember? (Narokath)
This song... Oh man, there’s so much emotion in even just this cover. This is the kinda stuff which motivated me to put this together.
14:00 - A Home For Flowers ~ Daisy (PianoBin)
I’m gonna be real, I like this more than the actual Daisy version of Home For Flowers. The more realistic piano really sells the emotion. Like I know why they went for the more VGM-y headspace piano in game, but this is just really nice.
15:29 - See You Tomorrow (NeYU Scores)
When I first heard this in game, it sounded so familiar yet distinctly original. It gave me feelings resembling a lot of stuff I liked - sweet, Yasunori Mitsuda-y acoustic guitar and strings, but with some interesting vibraphone action and flute sounds. It gave it a distinct, original feel, while resembling the songs of both RPGs and memories past. Thus, you translate that to piano, and oh boy is it one heck of a masterpiece. It reminds me a lot of “Another Fair“ - an OCReMix of one of Mitsuda’s many masterpieces from the Chrono Trigger soundtrack. You may not know the source but if you like this cover I highly recommend giving it a listen since they give me the same feels.
17:52 - White Space (franatix0)
Today I uploaded a playlist of awesome OMORI piano covers. Everything was okay.
19:12 - You Were Wrong. Go Back (Edwin)
Space Boyfriend is probably my favorite of the Headspace characters, so this arrange is highly appreciated.
22:04 - OMORI (PianoBin)
As if this piece wasn’t already emotionally damaging enough!
The OMORI boss fight is very interesting. As someone put it, it’s “the concept of an instrument which will never be played versus it finally being played“. It’s almost idealism versus reality, but at the same time both sides represent idealism and reality in different ways. Sunny wants to dream away but finally is realizing that escaping reality doesn’t save him from it. Meanwhile, Omori’s ultimate goal is to keep Sunny away from reality, yet he chews into Sunny for being too weak to even face it. It’s the most extreme kind of cognitive dissonance and I love it.
26:26 - Final Duet (kei k)
This has another “old piano“ quality that I love. I really love these detuned piano covers. It has a nostalgic sound to it, and seeing as Final Duet is itself about reliving and accepting memories, it fits quite well.
28:52 - Good Morning (PianoBin)
One more day...
I need to learn the rest of the lyrics!
Jokes aside, great song, even better cover. This game, fittingly, has music perfect for piano.
Happy Holidays!
