Russia stages war games to ’destroy enemy’ after Royal Navy enters Black Sea

RUSSIA has staged a military exercise to ’destroy enemy vessels’ with ’supersonic missiles’ after a Royal Navy warship enters the Black Sea. The ’kill an enemysubmarine’ was intended to show off the Russian military’s muscles in front of the HMS Trent as it arrives to support Ukraine amid tensions with Moscow. Making no effort to be discrete, in a separate military drill, two Russian Tu-160 nuclear missile-carrying bombers escorted by MiG-31 fighters performed an explosive seven hour battle over the Barents Sea.
