Blue Origin NS-16: New Shepard’s First Human Flight
Blue Origin’s New Shepard reusable launch system was launched from and landed at the Launch Site One in West Texas, on 20 July 2021, at 13:12 UTC (08:12 CDT). For the first time, the New Shepard capsule carried passengers to space: Wally Funk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Bezos and Oliver Daemen (Blue Origin’s first paying customer). NS-16 is the third mission, launch and landing, for this New Shepard launch vehicle.
