Baroque Dances, the Chaconne

Dancer, Paige Whitley-Bauguess performs “Chaconne of Amadis Performd’ by Mr. Dupré,“ from Lully’s Amadis (1684), as choreographed by Anthony L’Abbe. The music by Jean-Baptiste Lully is performed by the Bach & Beethoven Ensemble. This was a free concert on the fourth day of the first ever Chicago Early Music Festival. The venue is the “reversed stage“ of the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park.
