Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961

Credit to Reality TV. Ethiopian 961 was Hijacked and ran out of fuel over Comoros Islands. The Hijackers demanded to be flown to Australia, but the 767 didn’t have enough fuel to make it there. It made a controlled ditching 500m away from the shore. Luckily a person on the beach recorded the whole event unfold. The three hijackers died on impact, there were 175 passengers, 50 survived including the Pilot and Co-pilot.
