Xi and his wife welcome five central Asian countries leaders with stunning ceremony in Tang Paradise

Chinese President Xi Jinping is hosting the leaders of five central Asian countries in the city of Xi’an, reportedly marking the first ever summit between the heads of state of the six countries. The two-day event gathers the presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Xi and his wife Peng Liyuan welcomed the leaders on Thursday evening to Tang Paradise, a theme park built in the style of a Tang Dynasty royal garden.
