Mother ‘shocked’ after energy company installs prepayment meter while she’s out

As the energy crisis bites - there’s been a surge in suppliers moving customers on to prepayment meters. But charities and some MPs have warned that this puts vulnerable people at further risk during the cold spell because they have to pay for energy upfront . We met a family who came home to discover their supplier had used a locksmith to enter the house and changed the meter while they were out.
