Earthquake with a magnitude of 5 on the Richter scale in Egypt! Across the country mourning!

An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale struck early Tuesday morning in the South Sinai region, east of Egypt, Petra said at the Jordan Seismological Observatory. The director said in a statement that the quake hit the Sinai Peninsula region at 3:15 a.m. at a depth of 10 km and is considered a moderate perceptible earthquake on the Richter scale. On Tuesday, stations of the Egyptian National Seismic Network recorded an earthquake 26 km southwest of Al-Tur, which was felt by the inhabitants of Cairo. The earthquake occurred on Tuesday at 02:11:02 local time. Its strength was 5 on the Richter scale, north latitude, east longitude and a depth of km. The institute received reports that shaking was felt, but no loss of life or property was reported. A number of citizens in several governorates of Egypt felt the quake on Tuesday. The main affected areas were the northern cities of the Red Sea, Hurghada, Ras Ghareb and Ras Shukair, which were hit by the earthquake.
