00:00 Целительная Земля (Healing Earth) 25:15 Водолей (Aquarius) Правительство Звука, 199? reissue of the original 1989 release at Nightingale Records recently a good friend scored me a big box of the new age cassettes released in the ex-USSR countries over the course of the 90s. surprisingly, many of them are not “pirate“ copies (like it often was with popular music) but legit, licensed reissues, despite having different artworks sometimes and all the titles translated to russian. i remember seeing some of these in the esoteric book stores but wasn’t really interested back then in such kind of music, thinking it was too cheesy. imagine my surprise when i put this tape on ~ thick & powerful synth drone builds up right away, only getting richer with some effects, voices and meandering flute tones. totally my thing and something quite similar to what is being released in the drone ambient genre these days. and that’s only side A, on the flip side it gets even more pushy
