Two for One (feat. Dan Kaneyuki)

A global pandemic can’t stop the funk. Written as a feature for Dan Kaneyuki in 2016, the Pandemonium Big Band nails this tough, but funky Elliot Deutsch original. The melody is a modified blues form with a Brecker Brother’s inspired, straight 8ths turn around. The soli/development sections are an homage to Thad Jones’ great 1970’s big band compositions.
