Gaza: Can you imagine?

A note from Roger Waters: To the brave Palestinians in Gaza marching for freedom, WE ARE WITH YOU!! Since 1947/8 the Israeli Settler movement has been hell bent on the ethnic cleansing or apartheid segregation and subjugation of the indigenous Palestinians in their historic homeland. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! The shooting down of protesters is always wrong! All human beings are our brothers and sisters. All people should have equal rights under the law! The Palestinians’ legal right of return to the land that they were driven from must be upheld. Their current peaceful protest is noble and brave, for they march knowing they may be shot. The State of Israel holds 2 million Palestinians in the open air prison that is Gaza, denying them the basic necessities of life. If they attempt to return to their ancestral homes they are summarily shot. FOR THE NEXT SIX WEEKS THEY WILL BE MAKING AN HISTORIC STAND IN PEACEFUL PROTEST. WE, IN GLOBAL CIVIL SOCIETY, MUST STAND WITH THEM. WE SHALL OVERCOME ONE DAY! Love Roger Waters
