Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)- The Beatles (Guitar and Sitar Cover)

The sitar parts are taken from my collaboration on @MichaelSokil channel. Check out his Norwegian Wood cover that includes me and@perrystanleyNumber9 Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) is the second track on my favorite Beatles album Rubber Soul (1965). It was written by John Lennon and is one of the first western pop songs to include a Sitar. George learned this Indian instrument from Ravi Shankar I’m playing a real Hiren Roy Travel Sitar, that I bought at the Music Inn in New York City. I’m still a beginner, but am learning quickly. The Sitar is being mic’d with a Neumann TLM-103. George played a cheap sitar on the original song, and later bought a real Hiren Roy by the time of Revolver in 1966 The song is in the key of E. Most sitars are tuned to C or D, so I had to tune the sitar up a few semitones more than the instrument would probably prefer. I broke a few strings in the process.
