Heroes of Bronze: The Memory

To help the project, PLEASE SHARE, COMMENT and FOLLOW for more updates: Heroes of Bronze is a personal CGI shortfilm I’ve been working on for the past 4 years, a labor of love and an introduction to an era that I think is sorely missing from today’s film and animation world. I am not a historian, nevertheless, I tried to do the ancient Greece justice. I wanted to depict it as historically accurate as I was able, but at the same time, make it larger than life, the way it lives in my imagination. I am sure I’ve made errors, despite that, I hope I was able to capture the spirit of the ancient times and the Greco-Persian war period. I plan to continue this project, but it largely depends on the support of the Patrons. On my Patreon, I will be sharing lots of behind the scenes, exclusive content, some of my 3D files, as well as short stories and larger parts of the Heroes of Bronze story. I put together majority of the scenes and assets in Blender, where I also rendered the shots. To help the process, however, it helped to use a lot of other specialized tools. Absolutely essential for character meshes and animation was Reallusion’s Character Creator and iClone, as well as the Rokoko suit for capturing my own animations. I employed Marvelous Designer for cloth simulations and Substance Painter for texturing most of the assets. The Adobe package served well in postproduction and editing, I used Photoshop for still images, After Effects for compositing the shots and Premiere for editing the video.
