Princess Marina’s Funeral (1968)

Unissued / Unused material - Windsor Castle, Berkshire. GV Pan down exterior of St. George’s Chapel, Windsor. LS to CU As the coffin bearing Princess Marina, borne by NCO’s of the three regiments she was colonel of, is brought down the steps from the chapel and placed in a waiting hearse. MS Pan as hearse drives away under the Henry VIII gate, pan back to royal mourners on the steps of the chapel. Immediate family of Duke and Duchess of Kent, Princess Alexandra and Angus Ogilvy, and Prince Michael are foremost with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in background. They enter their car and drive off. MS As the Queen and Duke pause to speak with the Dean of Windsor, the Very Rev. Robin Woods, before entering their car and driving off. The rest of the royal family do likewise amongst those seen are Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Princess Margaret and husband.
