Reel 1. Rome? Italian men’s fashions. Girls in school uniform walk in front of a large building. Two men in suits walk towards the camera. Looks like somewhere in Italy. High shot of the city. View from a tall building. Bridge across a river. Newer buildings. A group of people arrive by coach at a municipal building. Sign above doors reads: “VI Congresso Internazionale Dei Maestri Sarti - rassegna inter della moda.“ Delegates listen through earphones. Various men model suits - some are older men than the usual model types. Women applaud. Man demonstrates a nifty short jacket that becomes a long jacket after certain buttons are undone. Woman waits outside the building perched on the seat of a Vespa (or similar type of moped.) Man in suit comes down the steps, kisses her and drives off with her perched on the back. Another man in a suit and riding boots gets into a car and drives off. A woman drives up, shakes hands with a man and they drive off. View from the car of Italian streets.
