Holiday Camp Ivory Gate Reel 2 (1930-1939)

A Scottish children’s story set in Glasgow. The set and action are in the format of a play. No documentation exists for this item. 1930’s ? HOLIDAY CAMP IVORY GATE (reel 2) ... Mr Fruitcake declares that he will never rest until he finds the boy that he used to play with in Ivory Gate. Mr Bartholemew invites him to stay providing he’ll join in with his children’s cabaret. The children in fancy dress run into the room. They each have an amusing chat with Mr Fruitcake. Their mother enters and Mr Fruitcake tells her that when he used to live there, their house was called Ivory Gate. She has heard stories of the house being haunted by a little boy. The cabaret begins. Mrs Bartholemew plays the piano and they all sing and play with children’s musical instruments to the song “All the kings horses“.
