WOMEN OF FASHION (Reel 1) Title Page: “Women of Fashion“ “An ABC Advertising Magazine presented by Linda Leigh“ A catwalk fashion show for women with a fuller figure: Larger sized models parade the latest designs by Linda Leigh in a glamourous hotel interior. The male narrator comments that it’s “a refreshing change from the pencil thin models we meet at most fashion shows.“ The fashions (all dresses, in Rayon, brocade and lace) are paraded up and down the catwalk, then shown in close-up. Various shots of elegant women in the audience. A fashion designer at a drawing board in a studio. Other designers discuss dress patterns and are seen looking at pictures of the latest Paris fashions. In the studio are rolls of fabric and a dressmakers dummy. Mr Louis Mint the creator of Linda Leigh fashions examines rolls of fabric with an assistant. He drapes the material over a dummy.
