Grace Ivell & Vivian Worth (1929)

No titles. Singing duo Grace Ivell & Vivian Worth. Probably filmed at Pathe Studio, London. Grace Ivell and Vivian Worth, both dressed in floral printed dresses with tulle skirts, sing a ballad which is probably called ’Shine On Heather Moon’. One of them sits playing the grand piano while the other sits it. In the middle of the song, the one sitting on the piano sings ’Comin’ Thro’ The Rye’. She has great bee-stung lips. Neither lady could be described as a flapper - they both seem to be approaching middle-age rather than being ’bright young things’. This probably originates from Pathe Sound Magazine 17. Note: item is out of synch throughout due to early sound recording. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
