Hamburg, Germany MARY QUANT IN HAMBURG. Various shots of Mary Quant (fashion designer) being interviewed prior to her fashion show in Hamburg. Various shots of the ’way-out’ fashion show of Quant women’s wear to young buyers. The models dance their way through the show to the accompaniment of the London beat group ’The Hifis’. The catwalk is extremely small and there’s quite a party atmosphere. The show includes mini dresses and bloomers. A model reveals her big knickers, a girl sucks her thumb in a baby doll nightie, girls modelling other nightwear pretend to sleepwalk or lie down on the catwalk.
