Unused / unissued material - Various shots of chickens in an intensive factory farming environment. A man is collecting eggs from the racks of chickens. VS of pigs in small cages drinking from trough of foul looking water. LS of farm house. Pan to factory farming sheds - there is no sign of any livestock outside the sheds, they could house anything. VS of young piglets running around their mother’s legs. She is held in a cage so she cannot lay down on them. VS of group large pigs in indoor sty / piggery. VS of large number of calves being fed cow’s milk from buckets. They are housed in feeding pens. VS of a machine called an ’Autocow’ which appears to suckle young calves.
