GV Massed crowds in main square in Bucharest in a demonstration of solidarity for the Czechoslovak people. MS Crowd chanting and clapping hands, they hold pro-Ceausescu banners. VS Nicolae Ceausescu comes out onto balcony of government building and raises his hands to the crowds. With him are members of Communist Central Committee. GV High angle looking down on mass of heads, good shot. VS Ceausescu delivering speech to mass, he gets plenty of feeling into his words. VS Mr Paul Niculescu-Mizil steps forward and reads the Communique to the crowds about the Rumanian talks. VS Mr Ceausescu back at the microphone delivering a strong speech on the future of Rumania and the Czechoslovak position. VS Plenty of crowds, silent, clapping, cheering, etc. (Lav. Comb.)
