1st Full title reads: “TUBE SNACKS“. London Various shots showing how a special tube train travels along the line stopping at stations being used as shelters. The canteen staff in the special food train unload food containers onto the platform and distribute it to the people sheltering there. Good shots showing people settling down for the night on the platform. People are served with tea and snacks by attendants from the tube train. 2nd Full title reads: “Give ’Em A Lift!“. VS of girls standing at side of road trying to thumb a lift to work, some carry small banners stating where they wish to go. CU woman wearing badge saying ’I want to go to Pimlico’. Other women ask for lifts.
