State of Palestine: Unexploded bomb lands in al-Rimal neighbourhood

Subscribe to our channel! An unexploded MK 84 Tritonal bomb has landed in a residential area in the al-Rimal neighbourhood in Gaza City. Resident Naseem Abu al-Qamber had gone to check on his house on Tuesday, when he found the missile, which had been dropped by an Israeli F-16 fighter jet. He said the fuse has been removed, but the missile cannot be extracted at the moment. “We called the explosives unit to tell them about this missile. They came and extracted the fuse, but the rocket was still present, and the danger is still present. They told us after the end of the conflict, or a temporary calm, they will remove it because it needs large equipment,“ said Naseem Abu al-Qamber. The missile weighs roughly 1000 kilograms (over 2200 pounds). MK 84s are able to leave 15 metre (50 feet) wide and 11 metre (36 feet) deep craters, whilst also capable of penetrating through metal and concrete.
