Making an Elliptical Hoop Skirt #costube

Welcome back to this series of making my mid-1860’s ballgown ensemble! I used Truly Victorian’s pattern to make this elliptical hoop skirt. This was a fun project and it was a big step for me in getting somewhere with the outfit that looked like I was making progress. The completed ensemble is what I submitted as my entry into Foundations Revealed’s competition this year. I was making Meg’s ball gown that she wore to the Mofit’s ball in Little Women.
