На излете весны ‘95 года бывший панк Роб Гарза вместе с друзьями направлялся в один из городских баров, не зная, что предстоящая встреча для него окажется судьбоносной. В заведении Eighteenth Street Lounge, где были шик, блеск, красота и доселе неизвестная Гарзе босса нова, он знакомится с одним из владельцев бара — Эриком Хилтоном. Оказывается у них полно общих друзей, но сами ребята до этого никогда не виделись. А тут еще оказалось, что у них много общих интересов по музыке.
