Here’s an interesting story for you. A few years ago I went to an audition. I sang a couple of songs (or rather a couple of lines from the songs, that’s how it usually goes😅, I think it was from “The Show Must Go On“ and “Master of Puppets“) and was asked by a member of the jury to sing something more lyrical, for example, “My Immortal“. But I couldn’t fulfill this request because I didn’t know the song. I heard it many times for sure, but I didn’t remember the lyrics, so I went with something from Nightwish and the rest is history.
