EDIT: I did a bit of extra reading, and it seems that (depending on the way that Blizzard Classic servers will handle it) you may need to shoot your wand once to give the “full“ 6 seconds before the mana tick. So Starshards might not be castable “back-to-back“ using this technique, but even in situations where you’re forced to do so it’s still inherently more mana efficient than any other Priest damage spell.
